More than 70 compliance professionals attended Bermuda's first digital asset compliance bootcamp on Friday 19 June 2026 at Athene Hall, Bermuda College. Attendees learned from Bermuda compliance practitioners what it takes to run compliance programmes for digital asset companies regulated under the Digital Asset Business Act.
Sessions covered the regulator's expectations of compliance officers and how digital asset regulation differs from traditional financial services, the licensing and growth of DABA-regulated companies, the regulatory perimeter for digital asset activities, governance and cyber risk, the compliance challenges of emerging technologies such as AI and smart contracts, and a session on audits, incidents and enforcement actions.
Our thanks to the speakers, to our sponsors Bermuda College and the Association of Bermuda Compliance Officers, and to everyone who attended. We look forward to the next X series event.
